On January 12th, the worst earthquake in 200 years - 7.0 in magnitude - struck less than ten miles from the Caribbean city of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, which has claimed the lives of between 50,000 – 100,000 and has displaced another 300,000 Hatians.
I don’t need to tell you that Haiti at the moment is as close as any of us are going to get to looking at Hell on Earth.
I can’t even begin to imagine what it is like trying to live in a country where everything has broken down: and like the rest of us I watch helplessly as the TV news shows me more images of dead and injured human beings, starving children and a population on the edge of anarchy.
Those of you who live in Melbourne may be able to do something to help though, because Ghetto Kitty and a host of local Dj’s, performers and promoters are banding together to stage a special benefit night at Miss Libertine in the city on Saturday the 20th of February to raise funds for the victims of the disaster.

Join some of our favorite crews as they come together to donate their time and talents for this country in need. With a line up including
High society (Live on stage)
Nadee - Hatian Soul singer w live band
Pat Stormont (LIVE)
Youthful Implants featuring Priscilla (LIVE)
Matt Radovich (Melbourne Techno collective)
Dave Pham & U One (MISK)
